So I'm back...

Its been ages since I've written here...

I recently came back from Mumbai. It was one of the most satisfying (and dissatisfying) trips EVER..

For one thing, it was just one week long... I wanted to be there for like A YEAR..

The trip (according to my parents) was a total disaster and waste of money, as I lost my iPhone 3GS on the flight and then I'm pretty sure someone stole it..

I was supposed to get some medicines for Dad but got the wrong ones instead... (TOTAL WASTAGE!!)

I.. dont know whats happening to me...

Right now, all I know is that I turned on my PC on quiet peaceful Sunday morning (my parents are sleeping BTW) and have no idea what to do...

Whats wrong with me ???

O_o (sighs)

I'm waiting for school to start.. I'm waiting to get busy.. I'm waiting for the Unit Tests to prove to my parents that I CAN study, and I can study WELL, and that they dont need to advice me on (ahem) CERTAIN things...

For those of you who know me well, know whats wrong with me..

EVEN I KNOW WHATS WRONG WITH ME... But I have no idea of the solution...

I'm gonna go have breakfast... (sighs)

At the Airport

I'm at the airport at the gate waiting to board the flight. This Singaporean airport staff woman comes literally dragging  a wheelchair and on it , a young Seven maybe eight years old girl... She was silently crying.. Sobbing, rather.

She took the wheelchair to the front of the gate, an area which is quite deserted, and left her there, went on the te free Internet to check something.. I was like WTF?!?!?

Her name is Manali. I went up to her and introduced myself and shook her hand...

I asked her why she was crying, she sobbed harder.

Suddenly her father comes up from NO-FUCKING-WHERE and comes and scolds the child. It was in Marathi I couldn't understand.... But I'm pretty sure he was scolding her..

Then he shifted his hand baggage and came and sat next to me, as if trying to protect the child FROM ME. He gave me a look that said "Stay away from my daughter".

WHAT THE HELL?!?! I was trying to find out why she was crying.. Maybe I could cheer her up. All gone to waste now..

She's still crying..

Hey, do I look like I'm gonna do something to a sweeb innocent child?

Wait. There's a younger son. He just hit his own son with an umbrella..

FUCK...

I'm getting out of here (pukes)

My New School :D

MY NEW SCHOOL

I'm in DPSIS (Delhi Public School "International School" ) in Singapore, I've recently joined and attended school for I guess six weeks..

There are many things I REALLY LIKE about this school (and dislike some :P )

My New School (for me) is one of the best school's I've ever attended in this godforsaken nation (ahem ahem)

STUFF I LIKE :D

1. The Teachers

The teachers actually teach, for a change. I'm not expected to mug up anything and none of the teachers are irritating (except SOME. NO DETAILS!!! )

2. My Classroom

My Classroom is actually a normal size dance room, now divided into two by an extremely fragile STYROFOAM Wall. Its fun, small, gets incredibly stuffy when the air-con isn't working... And it kinda rox :)

3. TWO Basketball Courts

I ONLY like the fact that there are TWO BASKETBALL COURTS.. 'nuff said.

4. PEOPLE!!

Believe it or not, I've found a few friends at this place and frankly I'm kinda proud of it :) A week before joining school I was sure I'd be a nobody non-existant personality.. Thankfully I'm not :) :) :)

5. Indian National Anthem

Ok, laugh. But I Love My Country and I Love the fact that DPSIS, being an Indian School in Singapore, has Our National Anthem sung ^_^

STUFF I DONT LIKE

1. Air-Con

Sometimes the little devilish box at the top of the classroom decides not to function and let us die in the incredibly HOT, STUFFY, HUMID environment EVER.

2. Colour of the Building : BLUE

Ok BLUE. BLUE... dammit it SUCKS! I can't go on to explain this point further..

3. Canteen : MADHURIMA

I'll give just one example. A can of coke in ANY SCHOOL IN SINGAPORE is S$1.00 or less. ONE DOLLAR. But here, its S$1.20. It's food SUCKS. A classmate made a joke about one of its sauces.. Its a good joke, but I'm involved in it.. so, whatever. :P

4. The Basketball Courts (AGAIN)

Remember I LIKED something about the courts? Well. Apparently, not so much. I can easily touch the rim. COZ ITS ONLY EIGHT AND A HALF FEET. The courts are PUNY.

5. Certain Rules

Like the rule "no eating in class". I've been in KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA. We had no canteens and had to eat in classrooms itself. NEW AND AWESOME LUNCH EXPERIENCES EVERYDAY. I miss that
Well this is it :) (for now ;) )

No Leaf Clover

This is another random thing I wrote about a few weeks back.. I LOVE METALLICA. I had just heard one of its ICONIC songs titled No Leaf Clover and I FRIKKIN LOVED IT :D

Here it is :)

-

"No Leaf Clover"

No Leaf Clover is a song performed for the first time by Metallica during its S&M Concert ( which was nothing short of LEGENDARY, BTW )

S&M was the first time that a HardRock band got to play with a 109 piece Orchestra! Micheal Kamen (Musician) who has worked with artists like Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan etc. was pleased to compose music pieces for Metallica.

During the rehearsals for the concert, Lars Ulrich (Drummer) was clever and nosy enough to read James' lyrics diary and discovered this song which has been "sitting on the shelf" for about two years.. The song was taken into consideration and worked upon immediately.

NO LEAF CLOVER
By Metallica

And it feels right this time
On his crash course with the big time
Pay no mind to the distant thunder
New Day fills his head with wonder, boy

Says it feels right this time
Turned it 'round and found the right line
“Good day to be alive, sir
Good day to be alive,” he says

Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel
Was just a freight train coming your way
Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel
Was just a freight train coming your way

Don't it feels right like this
All the pieces fall to his wish
“Suck up for that quick reward, boy
Suck up for that quick reward,” they say

Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel
Was just a freight train coming your way
Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel
Was just a freight train coming your way
It's coming your way
It's coming your wayaaay oh yeah!
Here it comes

Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel
Was just a freight train coming your way

Then it comes to be, yeah...

Then it comes to be, yeah...

Then it comes to be, yeah...

Then it comes to be, yeah...

Then it comes to be, yeah.

Then it comes to be, yeah...

Then it comes to be, yeah...

Then it comes to be, yeah!

Interpretation

The title, of course, plays with the "four leaf clover" belief of good luck. The story is of a guy who is starting out with whatever goal he has in mind, and getting good luck with it. The distant thunder (maybe a forewarning of something unfortunate?) is ignored because of how things seem like they can't go wrong, as each new day passes by with no problem. Things feel right, and they get turned around for the better advantage of the outcome -- when this happens it seems like more of a good day to be alive than usual.

The soothing light at the end of the tunnel is like what you see when your heading toward your goal... but then, it turns out to be a freight train, symbolizing something that is a problem, something that could crush your dreams.

Before you realize this, things still feel right, as all the pieces fall into place. Eventually you become a sucker for a quick reward, however, and may take things for advantage.

That train will come your way, if you're not careful about how you approach your dreams...

So this is it... My interpretation of the song..

No Leaf Clover is one of THE BEST Metallica songs i've ever heard. It has the perfect blend of awesome singing (he growls and shouts VERY LESS in this song) the drums-track is extremely energetic and keeps you taping your feet..and of course you cannot for THE INCREDIBLE ORCHESTRA..

The Song Is Sheer Perfection.

Because its 3:15am and I cant sleep

So this was a few days ago at night when i JUST COULD GET SLEEP.

Here it is :)

-

Ok wait, why did I decide to write this? Oh yeah. I'm bored. I can't sleep. And I'm hungry (but I STILL) don't feel like eating. MAN...

I have this AWESOME FRIEND Roohani Deshpande who writes a blog.. I'm pretty sure i've read every post it in (though I've not been following it from day one). She sometimes posts about the most random thoughts of her innocent teen mind :)

I guess I'm gonna do the same... Bear with me guys :)

I hate smoking. The whole IDEA of smoking.. It's unnatural, contains 40,000 + chemicals and GETS YOU ADDICTED.

I'm not saying addiction is bad. Addiction to harmful stuff is bad!

I love Metallica. There are like A BILLION REASONS for this. I've bored my close friends many times by telling them about why I love Metallica.

I'm SICK! of meeting girls (mostly in their early teens) who like Justin Bieber (I hope I got the spelling right) and Twilight. SICK. TOTALLY SICK. I haven't got anything against these, but being constantly reminded of how great something is in THAT WAY "Justin bieber! OMG HE's soo hot!!" makes me wanna puke.

Why are looks so important in frikkin MUSIC?!?! I think, that if Justin Bieber should be popular and loved, it should be because of HIS MUSIC, and not his age, or which brand he endorses or whatever...

I used to watch movies. Alot. But now , let's just say I don't feel like :/

I can't wait to learn some REAL guitar stuff like basic chords and songs coz I'm sick of playing the same Do Re Mi Fa So La and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star crap.

At the moment my laptop is on and it's currently converting a two and a half hour video to be played-back on my beloved PS3 (ahem ahem. Enough details)

I can't wait for tommorow coz I'm going out to THE BEACH :))

I'm covering my head with a blanket so that the light from the phone doesn't escape and wake up my insanely sensitive parents.

Typing on the iPhone SUCKS BTW.. It makes my thumbs really ACHE! but I'm kinda used to it by now :)

Every night before bedtime I listen to my favourite ultra-loud Metallica songs before drifting off to peaceful and usually dreamless sleep..

You might imagine just HOW BORED I am .. I'm not stopping this thing! LOL

For reasons beyond my parents' comprehension, I HATE SINGAPORE. Again, there are A BILLION REASONS for this. (not now.. My objecive is to TYPE MYSELF TO SLEEP )

Ok that was weird.

I'm very disappointed with the iPhone 3GS. its battery life SUCKS. typing sucks EVEN MORE. and it hangs too soon.
BEST REASON OF ALL - Before this I was using a Nokia N86 8MP which is one of the loveliest things to me EVER. I could save messages in it. It had the traditional "Inbox" "sent items" and all...

The bloody piece of shit iPhone DOESNT. FUCK IPHONE 3GS!!!!

Ok now I'm wide awake. I guess I can kiss my wish of sleep tonight goodbye :p

I'm running out of things to talk about. And kinda panicking too.

HOLY CRAP!!! Dad just woke up and went to the washroom and he didn't notice me!!

I'll cut it short for now.

Be right back (if possible :) )

First Post

Generally first posts are about the author himself/herself.

I always have this problem of writing the "ABOUT ME" section on FB and Orkut. I cant understand where to start and where to end. DAMMIT! :p

Well I guess you'll find out more about me soon in my upcoming posts :)

I'll just post somethings I've written beforehand here :)

Till then, CHEERS :)
